Worth keeping and how to edit?

are these worth fixing up? if so what one and how do I get the shadow off her shirt or her face

I'd keep the first one. The shadow isn't an issue to me. It's part of the foreground context. Would it be nicer without? Maybe. But the amount of work needed to clone it out would take away from the image because for it to look natural you'd have to remove it from the shirt too. I would just keep it as it is, warm it up maybe, lose some contrast, and just sharpen the eyes and call it a day.

I wouldn't keep the second. Looks like it's your shadow with your elbows up. Maybe I'm wrong. Plus it just seems a little soft like focus was missed.

The first one is nice, I wouldn't worry about the shadows on her shirt. The shadows in her face should be easy to remove in PS with a separate dodge and burn layer for non-destructive PP.
The second shot is somewhat out of focus but still charming

I would say yes, these are worth saving. I would simply say to make it a black and white image, with black contrast.

Could blur that grass just a tiny bit and restrain blacks a little.

If you use an editing program, you can set the crop to maintain the original ratio so it want be square.

I did a 30 second rework. With your permission, I'll post it. Certainly worth keeping the first one.

I don't see anything wrong with the file, and that is only the downsized jpg. If you have the raw, you have a good shot to work with.
