Amethyst Deceiver... a wonderful purple mushroom...


Laccaria amethystina, commonly known as the amethyst deceiver, is a small brightly coloured mushroom, that grows in deciduous as well as coniferous forests. The mushroom itself is edible, but can absorb arsenic from the soil
