I thought the way this leaf fell on the log was just awesome. It had just finished raining and there was just a hint of sunlight on the log/leaf. Any advice would be appreciated. Either crop, PP or whatever you think. Thanks Cole

I love the first edit - don't you love that lens? The colors are beautiful!

normally i end up having to help nature out by placing leafs where i think they'd look good :)

i prefer the PP on the first one, i do think a little experimenting with the rule of thirds could help though instead of having the subject in the dead center of the shot

I really like pictures of leaves. That said, I like your first shot but agree with Dre's comment about having the leaf in the dead center.

Second works better for me, the colour in the first is distracting. Agree about dead centre.

I prefer the first edit, and normally I'd agree about the subject being centered, but in this case it works for me because of how the wood is angled in the shot and the leaves are staggered on the ground. Overall, nice composition. Well done!

FYI: "Fitness Freak" is also known as "Amber" outside of POTN.
