Gonna be a sad day when the leaves drop. This Harris's Sparrow was kind enough to make an appearance. I waited patiently for over 1/2 hour for him to finally show himself.

Very nice shots. I saw more Harris's in my yard this fall than ever before.

Thanks Al. We always get a few passing through at this time of the year. They're not a sparrow that sticks around here. I still haven't seen an older male this fall. From my research, these appear to be non breeding adults or first winter adults.
