Nicely down - love the dreamy effect of the illumination fall off on the edges. It really focuses your attention on the plane.

No, I would clearly consider this "abstract" from what I was taught in several years of art class. Much more to this than panning and simple exposure adjustment. Very nicely done!! Creativity in a way not usually seen. Beautiful work!

Thanks to each of you for your comments, I appreciate them.

The panning was not very strong with this one and the backdrop was very ordinary and not interesting color wise. The aircraft has a chrome finish as well, so I decided to work with the tones in black and white then added motion blur on a layer and then painted the plane back out. This one may still be a work in progress - thanks again for your thoughts.
