Digital Camera Speed Challenge #390

Toys

This week's speed challenge theme is toys. Big toys, little toys, anything related to toys.

This challenge begins when posted, and will end at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard time Friday, 23 October 2015.
Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Standard Rules apply: Photo Submissions:

1. Camera: Any DSLR Camera. Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge. Camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me. I will have no/limited internet access Saturday, 10 Oct. or Sunday, 11 Oct.
9. Have FUN! :-D

* New Topic - After winner is declared. * Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced. * Posting Ends - 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time Friday, 23 October 2015. * Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

1st Place - Groundloop - love the composition, lighting seemless background

2nd Place - Darkslinger - great shallow DOF and I am a sucker for old trains

3rd Place - Benitoite - big toy and an old kid driving with no hands

Thanks everyone. Lots of great photos this week, and great theme too.

I just posted the new theme, I hope it can attract as many great photos as this one.

When I did that 'bear' photo I was just kind of playing around..... I don't remember what prompted me to do that shot other than I was reading through Strobist Lighting 101 and was looking for an excuse to experiment. Here's how it was done:
