A beautiful tiny chalcid wasp on the underside of a rhododendron leaf. About 1.7mm body length.

Thanks - Yes it is a parasitoid wasp (ie it's larvae are parasitic) - many of these tiny wasps are important in keeping other plant damaging insects down to reasonable numbers.
