I was hoping for some sunshine whilst visiting the Isle of Skye, however I should have known it would remain cloudy over the entire weekend until our last day there.
We went and visited the Fairy Pools, which are a series of small waterfalls in a small river flowing down from the mountains. Most tourists stop at the first one or two but the dedicated few carry on up the path to find more of them. It always pays off to get into the water and take the shots rather than from the edge.......luckily I had a pair of wellies on otherwise it would have been freezing!

As you can tell it was fairly overcast and with a bit of editing in photoshop I have pulled these back from being dull. I think the dodging and burning hasn't quite worked in the first image though.

That’s a cracking set mate. Far better than the hallucination inducing image in the other thread.

Nice images. When I was on Skye this summer there was so much rain, that the little creek that you have to cross, was so big, you could not get to the fairy pools.
Like I always say, good reason to go back there.
