Auto ISO reliable church>outside ? How many locations on average for locationshoot ?

I just tested the auto-iso of my 6D at a sportscomplex inside but got a lot of unsharp pics (it took ISO640 with my 135L at f2.8), I adjusted it manually to ISO3200.
For weddingpics inside church + directly outside, I should better program an ISO3200-6400 on C1 + ISO400 for the outside church pic on C2, so that I can switch fast ?

I have 1 1/2 hour for the locationshoot, do you find this a bit short or not ?
How many locations do you do on average for the locationshoot ?

What mode were you in? (M/Tv/Av) What minimum shutter speed did you have set? It sounds like whatever mode you're in, it was letting the shutter speed dip too low. Auto ISO works pretty well, as long as you keep an eye on the exposure triangle. I just wish my 5DIII could do EC while in M mode with auto ISO like the 1Dx.

Normally I work Tv mode wide open, but for the wedding I think I will program a C1 & C2 mode (inside/outside) to work faster.
This time I was in C1 mode, I thought when the shutterspeed would be too fast that Auto iso automatically adjusts iso higher to have sharp pics.

Look in the menus for ISO speed settings. My 5DIII has a Min. shutter speed setting. I don't know what the default is, but I have mine set to 1/250' which is the fastest it'll go. That or even 1/125' should be fine for vastly reducing motion blur. When you get down into 1/30' or lower, motion blur will kill you.
