Found this orb web spider happily sitting in a dahlia flower - no web to be seen around. All shots handheld, focus stacked using zerene. 5Dmk2/MPE-65/430Ex flash.

Superb shots - can you give a bit more explanation into how you took the shots - you mention focus stacking, but how many images were combined in each stack ? being handheld how did you adjust the focus points between each shot, I assume focusing was manual?

birderman. I was able to hold the flower in my left hand and rest the lens on that hand. Approx 5 or 6 shots for each stack. I was using fixed focus and moving the camera on my hand to get the slices.
