The wife called me in to remove this guy so I got the camera out and took his photo before releasing him to the garden :)

My wife thinks I'm crazy for relocating (most) insects and spiders in the house. I caught a Wind Scorpion once (Camel Spider). Is that a Huntsman?

not the normal camera for macro but it was handy. we seem to get a few of these around the house. And yes Bob it is a huntsman so not poisonous

How big across leg tip to leg tip do you thin that spider is in inches/centimeters? I also would not like to see that spider even outside! :-(

Here is a photo of him on the brickwork, aussie bricks are 76 mm x 230 mm x 110 mm . you are seeing the ends of the bricks which are 76mm x 110mm

Wow! You have a lot of very large spiders down under in Aussie land. I am sure glad I do not live there!

I also know there are plenty of large spiders in the USofA but thankfully I do not see them!
