I was thinking about that, and was going to say the same, but then I realized I do now :-D.

For me it is 40-60mm. When going light I'll often take the 16-35 and 70-200 and skip the in-between. I started throwing in the 50 1.4 just because it is so light, but then it just got in the way and I never used it.

I use 12-300 pretty darn consistently. I don't discriminate the lenses that I own. They are all my slaves equally.

Only use 50mm now, so all else pretty much falls into the least used category.

I think I can live with each focal length.

I use all my lenses frequently so there is no lens I never use. I do have a gap at 50mm and I don't miss that gap. But I think I can live with a nice 24 and 50 prime as well.

I don't need a range of 200+ mm.

I rarely use a focal length over 105mm. If using primes, I don't go below 35 or over 105, but I know I am missing something at the longer end.
I have a 70-210F4 that is very sharp, but was just used for some test photos when I first got it. It may have 35 shots in total.

I rarely use my 100mm f/2.8 macro. Only a few times a year. Then, it is used for hours on end. All of the others are used about the same amount of time and shutter actuations.

I now and then used the 800mm. The 1000mm mirror lens is unused the last years. But likely there are really unused focal length I own, but I talk only about the digital camera ready lenses. Not those medium, largeformat, APS or projection lenses.

I do not talk about all those focal lenghts I could possible get with a TC, like 2000, or 4000 with two TC, or 8000mm with three of my teleconverters stacked ( I own some teleconverters).

<24mm. I have a 16-35, but if I were to sell a lens, I could live without the range wider than 24mm most easily. A lot of times when I do shoot below 24mm, I wind up cropping the shot anyway.

Same here. In fact, I don't even have a lens wider than 24mm. The widest lens I have is my 24-105, and I hardly ever use it at 24mm. I have never wanted to shoot an image wider than 24mm.

However, my longest focal length is 800mm, and I have very, very often wanted to shoot longer than that.

"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Lightroom tells me that my 50mm STM is my least-used lens, by a wide margin. Looking at people photos, I see that I use my 85mm for everything from closeups to full-body shots (94% of my people shots), and the 35mm end of my 16-35 for more environmental portraits. I think the issue here is that I rarely find myself in a space where anything I might shoot at 50mm I can't just back up and shoot at 85mm, for a result that is more pleasing to me. Some of this of course is due to my awareness that my 50mm is a $125 lens, and my 85mm is not, so there is definitely some bias there that has nothing to do with focal length. If I had a top-notch 50mm, I'm sure it would see more use, but probably not much. I can see that when I had a 24-70, I mostly used it at 24, 35 and 70.

I often use 50mm, it is my most used of my 3 primes. If I can;t swap lenses or only took the one,
I step back or plan to crop the photo in post.

I am 'allergic' to 85mm it seems. I did not like the FL as a 50mm on my crop camera. (81mm FOV)
It was not enough compression for a nice distance landscape, and not wide enough for framing a whole scene.
This is because 90% of my photos are environmental portraits. (people doing things at places)
The other 10% are a mix or landscapes, macro or artist. With a tiny fraction of a % being a head and shoulders portrait of friends.

Probably 135mm, and I own the 135mm f2. Kind of a shame, right? Instead of the 135mm, I end up using the 100mm f2 or the 200mm 2.8.

Anything between 10-250 mm on a crop camera.

Apertures on the other hand, i shoot a lot at f8. Bokeh is not something i'm usually after.
