Just for product clarification about Profoto...
A Profoto B2 or B1 strobe, CAN use any of the more than 120 existing Profoto light-shaping modifiers/tools that are available; they do not need special modifiers.

For example: I can & do use my studio Profoto D1Air-500's 3ft Octabox, Beauty Dish, 1ft x 3ft Strip Softbox, or Zoom Reflectors, etc. with my Profoto B1's for on-location applications.
However, it is just the selected Profoto "OCF" series of light modifiers

Light Shaping Tools
that are manufactured with lighter-weight materials than the conventional Profoto modifiers (RFi, HR, RF series) and therefore are designed & recommended ONLY for Profoto B1's & B2's use (since these lights do not generate much heat).
Everyone has to determine which manufacturers' tools suit their specific applications/needs, as there are a lot of great products on the market.
I happen to love the Profoto products for their very fast recycle times, durable quality-construction, color-consistency across power levels, extreme reliability and convenient ease of use features, particularly for dynamic applications: such as HSS for wedding formals particularily in say summer sun when shade isn't available and TTL for the actions/memorable moments of receptions, or events. The B1's are indeed a pleasure to use, particularly for on-location applications (and provide more power/flexibility & cordlessly than the battery-pack cabled B2's). This enables my focus to be on moments/expressions rather than gear.
i.e. "pose/expression trumps exposure triangle/perfection" every time - but B1's noticeably helps me come closer to executing on both levels.
Two B1's (with a set of spare batteries) in a Profoto Double case

is my air-travel carry-on "personal item", for occasional destination weddings.
My product selection & photography-business strategy is to: determinedly differentiate yourself & style, playing to one's strengths and to start where you want to end. Just one view.
Hope this clarifies.
