Hi all,

The wife and I travelled to Cambodia for a couple days and visited the floating village, Angkor Wat, the 'Angelina' Wat and the Bayon Wat of 216 faces. Follows are a few shots with the link to the Flicker album of 43 pics.

The floating village is peopled with Vietnamese refugees from the conflict of a few years ago. They are undocumented aliens and may live on the floating city, but are forbidden to leave. Income is mostly from fishing which is sold to Cambodians that come out on boats to buy.

Next stop, Angkor Wat

What I had 10 years ago (All gone, don't ask.):
70D, 100L macro, Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD, Magic Lantern, 600ex-rt, FotoPro Mini5, Macbook Pro 15" i7.
What I am looking at now:
I am going to start with the 24-70 2.8 glass. Some R body to pair it with.

Interesting thread, especially the floating village. Was trying to organise a trip to Angkor Wat this month but flights not working for us. Heading to HCMC and the Mekong in Vietnam instead. I like numbers 7, 9 and 10 where the jungle is enveloping the temple. The power of mother nature in action! Thanks for sharing.

It's all in the details.

Just came back from there myself a few weeks ago. So many similar shots. Had to look at your dates to check if we were in any! Amazing places.
