Here are some of my ambient only photos:

And some of my strobed exampes:
All excellent, but that B&W of the bride in the car, and the last shot along the shoreline at sunset are KILLER images! Nicely done!

However that is not always possible in the UK depending upon light and the venue. RS Wedding Photographer Nottingham

Jan 30, 2016 21:41 | #50 So many variables to get the right shot and when to use light or not. I feel if you cannot find enough reflection or sources to have the light bounce to capture the subject correctly, you should probably use artificial. 2-R-6, 1-5D Mark 4, 3-5D Mark III, 5D Mark II, 2-7D's, 70D, canon 70-200 2.8 L IS II, 24-70L II, 85 1.8, 85 1.2, 50mm, 135 mm F2 L, 17-40 , 24-105, Sigma 35 Art and 18-35 1.8, 600 EX's, Elinchrom RX and Phottix 500 strobes

Have to ask you and we can use the same setup with equipment. And this could all be a mute point if manual focus. The first one, would love to see the shot you took right before it and one right after. I would guess and could be wrong and you are a very lucky person, they were out of focus. I am guessing with that shot, you are not just clicking once. But maybe you are. Also, what did you use to remove the noise? Nice job with this. 2-R-6, 1-5D Mark 4, 3-5D Mark III, 5D Mark II, 2-7D's, 70D, canon 70-200 2.8 L IS II, 24-70L II, 85 1.8, 85 1.2, 50mm, 135 mm F2 L, 17-40 , 24-105, Sigma 35 Art and 18-35 1.8, 600 EX's, Elinchrom RX and Phottix 500 strobes
