With obviously a tiny budget... so I came across this: http://www.aliexpress.com …01527_3,searchweb201560_9 (external link)

Pure garbage or actually a good product? Have to admit, the price really got me, and the 24 orders with 100% positive response. But I have a 40D, so not even sure it'll work..

Regular extension tubes with a fancy name. Extension tubes are inexpensive and are used regularly in macro.

A set of quality aftermarket ext tubes will cost $80.00 to $100.00. Tons of this China junk on e-bay
for less than your deal. Look for something used on e-bay in a little higher end.

A word of warning: I bought a set of cheap extension tubes to find out if I liked them. The lock on the tubes was very flimsy and unlocked very easily, almost dropping the lens, and also felt loose even with the lock on. Do yourself a favor and buy good quality tubes. (Vello and Fotodiox have good reputations). I happened across a used Canon set for a good price on Kijiji.

Vello is way better, don't waste your money on the cheap ones because you will be buying twice :)
