I'm getting more success when doing "marginal" shots at low shutter speeds. Brian v. Cheers Brian, I use the OS on my Sigma 150-500 all the time and can get away with 1/60th sec @ 500mm end. Framing the subject would be easier with a steady image in the viewfinder for macro work so I may well ask Santa for one this year. George
