While taking photo's near a group of hawk watchers, this owl flew by. I asked what kind of owl it was and a discussion started.The end result was 1-A Great Horned 2-Short Eared or 3- Long Eared and 4- I have no idea-I know this is the group to get the answer

I'm not an expert , but It looks like a Great horned owl to me by the feather pattern ! Nice shots BTW

The orange-brown color of the facial disc makes me think long-eared.
