So somehow my FT-16(godox AD360/cl600) transmitter got changed into a 5.0-10.0 display rating that did not change the actual power of the AD360 light.

Not knowing it had these alternative modes, my lights were useless until i was able to get to back into cellular signal range to google this.

It also has a 1.0-XXX-OF
5.0-10-OF
and OF-1/1 power which adjusts the AD360/CL600.

What is the purpose of these other modes as I don't remember seeing it documented within the manual or online anywhere except for a small product specification mention on various retailer pages.

It's in the manual. Press the SET button for two seconds to switch the display mode. The 5.0-10-of is for studio flashes.

Only when you are that good in trowing it at the on/off switch of a flash that is not produced by Godox.

Disclaimer, using the FT-16 in this way, may damage the trigger or/and receiving flash unit.

:-)
