Hi
I have just bought a new canon 1d mk2 and installed the software, but i am having trouble with raw image viewing with zoombrowser or even trying to view the raw images with photoshop or the canon software.
They are just not visible.

I select raw in camera and take a photo
i can see the image in the camera lcd, but when i plug the camera to my computer with the ieee 1394 cable, i cannot see any raw images in zoombrowser.
I took some jpeg shots and they can be viewed in zoombrowser so it is just the raw images that i cannot view.

I could maybe bypass this problem by buying a card reader, but i would prefer to use downloads with the ieee1394 cable.
I would appreciate any advice
thanks
Steve

in order to see the picture via the camera, you need to install the Twain and WIA drivers.

Use a card reader :)

Are you running at least the versions of ZB/EVU/DPP that shipped with the 1D II? If not, Canon USA has the latest versions available for update.

This maybe a silly question but did you download the RAW Images from the camera onto the computer or are you trying to see the RAW image from the Camera without downloading it first?

Steve,

Don't think ZoomBrowser does raw. You need to use the DPP software that comes with the 1D MkII or Camera Raw in Photoshop. But would echo queries of previous posters about correctly copiying image files from camera to PC.

My copy of Zoombrowser lets me view RAW and switches to DPP when I choose 'Process RAW'

I'm not, however, using a 1D

Hi All
Many thanks for your kind replies
I have download the latest driver software from the canon site also uninstalled the
solution disk then reinstalled it useing custom to make sure that the important information was installed.
This has cured the fault in the fact that i can select the raw images with canon viewer although my zoombrowser will still not show them, still i am more than happy that the fault has been cured!
Many thanks again
Steve
