My sons T3i has some issues with recording HD. We are using 64GB Elite Performance SDXC Class 10 UHS-3 - 90MB/s cards. I had no problems with the cards in a T2i, and my previous 6D.
Any ideas?

Pretty quick, like under a minute! I tried the black magic benchmark test utility... it didn't seem to work well reading out of the sd slot in my MBP. I'm really thinking it may be the card. Sony A7r2|24-70 f/4 FE|85 1.8 FE|28 f/2 FE|Venus Laowa 15mm f/2|Habakkuk 2:2

There are many counterfeit cards in the marketplace. Thank you John, I actually found that one last night! Sony A7r2|24-70 f/4 FE|85 1.8 FE|28 f/2 FE|Venus Laowa 15mm f/2|Habakkuk 2:2
