Does anyone have any experience with this tripod or Induro tripods in general I'm looking to upgrade my piece of junk one. Ill be using it with a canon 600mm f4 with a Wimberley gimbal head .

Thanks Troy.

I bought an Induro CT404 last summer and it rocks. Love it. Very high quality. Kicks butt all over my older Manfroto. Highly recommended.

I went for a Gitzo for my 600 F4 (now replaced with the Canon 800mm). The reason was price, when I bought my new Gitzo it was the cheaper option! Yes I had a very friendly high street camera shop!
The tripod I bought was the Gitzo GT 3530LS - Gitzo recommend a bigger tripod for the 600mm + lenses. I have tried them - there is no advantage, even with my 800mm.
I am not familiar with the Induro tripod that you mention but I have found that the current crop of Chinese carbon tripods are pretty good to very good. The only proviso is that I would go 1 leg thickness greater then Gitzo/RRS to achieve the same results. In other words if you want to equal a Gitzo/RRS 3 series then go for a 4 series equivalent from the others. You will pay a little extra in weight but save a significant amount of cash. I have used a number of tripods from Benro, Sirui and Feisol and they are producing some excellent products at sensible money - well worth a look!

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

I bought an Induro CT404 also, have only had it a few months, but I echo Ted's opinion on it. It's rock solid. Should keep me tripod happy for a long time.

I have a Induro AT 413 tripod with the induro Gimble .

I am also the same as you and have some manfrotto gear.

There is no comparison between the two, my induro tripod make the Manfrotto gear look like toys.

The other cool part is Induro hasn't raised the price on that tripod in 3 years that I know of...
