Hi All,

Just a couple of shots from today's shoot with Kristie. Very minimal editing in LR, I'm still sorting through the other 800 to find the best ones to edit!

Very time constrained unfortunately, so these were shot around 3pm in our Australian summer so the sunlight was pretty harsh.

I'd love some CC!

The second is my favorite - really like the lighting effect; nicely done with the composition and her expression. Good FOF isolation from the background which sets her off. That big watermark though is a major distraction to what is otherwise a nice photo.

That first shot - you have your exposure down nicely and I like her expression. The way she has her legs though all splayed out like that.........hmmmm, I don't know. She's fine from the navel up but below that it's like something a kid would do. Sorry, but that's my honest sentiment.

"Australian summer" boohoo! Try living in the Midwest in the US this time of year! Last week we had frost and this week it is in the 70's! :p

I'm just the opposite of sapearl. lol

I like the first one. It's sexy and I like the lighting and color of the top more. I don't agree with her choice of bottom though. The frilly edges aren't flattering at all. The frills are ok in the first photo but look odd between her legs in the second photo.

I'm not a fan of the second one. The lighting and colors make it look a little washed out. Her facial expression looks awkward to me, like you caught her while she was talking. I already mentioned the bottoms. The color of the top is also bland. Could have to do with PP though.

Just my personal preferences though. Everyone has their own preferences, as well as the clients. I notice my favorites are rarely the same as the clients', or anyone else for that matter.

Well Blake, we do agree on one though and that's the weather  I'm not a fan of ice and deep snow here in the Midwest but at least it will give me relief from my summer allergies ;-)a

I'm curious to know what post-processing was done, more specifically, the filter (or sequence) that made the skin look smooth.

Great job they look awseome!

How long were you shooting? "Time constrating" means like less than an hour and for that 800 images seems like a ton!

Battling the sun is really hard I can relate. You might want to throw a crop on 1 she seems slightly off center. IMO you sould be center or off the the side [rule of 3rds area] not slightly to the side.

No filters at all, slightly lowered the clarity but other than that it's just her complexion!

Thanks! All done in 90 mins which for me is quite a short shoot time.

Agree on the crop, I'll pull her over to the side I think

Like that second shot as well. These can be tricky lighting situations. Well done!
