I don't need top of the line nor high resolution. But it should zoom in tight for close-up/macro shots, as well as wide (say 120 degrees) and have image stab for handheld work and shoot long videos.

Little compacts are pretty amazing these days. Since this one class of Camera you can handle locally you might as well.
