Greetings all...it's been some time. I've switched to the dark side (Don't tell MDJAK :P )...but I do kind of lurk from time to time...this has always been a favorite photo forum. The ****onians are a bit full of themselves sometimes :P

So...I have a couple of clients who I have done photo restorations for, asking where they can get some old 35mm film developed.

I have a local place that might do it, but I'm really not wanting to contact them except as a last, and final resort ;)

So...are there any reputable labs left that can handle 35mm film that has been sitting around for years?

Hope all be doing well!

Color or B&W? Speed? Pushed? About how old?

If B&W no matter age, speed or pushed I would suggest stand development. If you scan it to make digital prints from the film there is no downside to this. http://jbhildebrand.com …development-with-rodinal/ (external link)

Thanks for the link. I am not looking to do this myself; I have not touched a wet darkroom in many, many moons ;)

The Darkroom is great, also Old School Photo Lab.

Film is alive and well, tons of labs left.

I do self developing at home and I've shot and developed film that expired before I was even born. Came out looking like new.

If you pay me enough, I could do it for you!!!!! Color and BW too!!!! :) Yeah, I could do it but you can rely on several online film developing companies. This is the one I used in the past before I know how to develop my own....

Darkroom.com is good too. Again, these are old film and so the result may not be as expected..like fading colors and fogging...
