Any chance that the 6D goes on any Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals?

I spent a LOT of money on lenses at Lensauthority.com last year. (That's the used sales division of lensrentals.com.)
They had 10% off over Thanksgiving weekend.

Gear: A lot more than I deserve and a lot less than I want!

Lensauthority cost me a lot too. Well worth it though.

I'm looking to pick up a 6D or even a 5D Mark III if I can find a good enough deal this year for black friday.

Of course it will! I got mine a few years ago for $1,500 and you'll beat me by $500!

I was at BestBuy last night and the sales guy told me that the 6D is not likely to have any BF sales in their store, unless Canon releases their own sale/rebate. He told me that they don't have any internal plans of putting the 6D on sale.

FWIW, a Best Buy rep told me a few days ago that there would be no Black Friday deals on the a6000 as well since it's already so cheap... now there is one! Just saying I wouldn't completely trust the reps at Best Buy to know about upcoming BF deals.

KEH has a great sale going on right now, ending tomorrow. 20%, 25%, or 30% off, depending on how much you spend.

Did they jack their prices up before that? Their list prices on used Fuji glass is higher than what it is new on Amazon.

I had been watching for some lenses to roll in (inventory is quite fluid over there), and prices seem to be more or less the same as what I've been seeing.

I think the Canon bodies have risen. That being said, a 6D in excellent condition would be about $1050, so not awful.

They probably did jack up some items, but I've heard lots of good things about KEH.

Adorama has a sale on a 7dMKII plus a printer for $1149 after mail-in rebates. Is there usually a better deal on just the camera on Black Friday, or should I jump on this? I've never ordered from Adorama before. I was getting their sale emails but they lost me with their incessant "do you want to stay" emails that said "We haven’t heard from you in awhile…We don’t want to keep sending you emails if you don’t want them. We’d hate to see you go, but if you don’t tell us you want to stay then we’ll have to remove you from our emails and you’ll no longer receive our exclusive deals and content." I was having to confirm every few days that I wanted to keep receiving the emails I signed up for, just because I didn't open every email. I get B&H sale emails without getting badgered, so I've been ordering from them instead.

That is a pretty good deal, but Canon usually lowers their prices a fair amount before Christmas. With people buying gifts for others, there probably aren't as many willing to spend a grand or two on a lens or camera.

I'm hoping for a deal on a Pro-10 like what Midwest Photo had last year. i already have two Pro-100s LOL

I jumped on that one and am very happy.
