Has no one any ideas what the wording - Matrix means in the camera profile section of LR?

Location: Where I'm from is unimportant, it's where I'm going that counts.

I don't understand matrix - is it a funny default setting where no cam profiles are shown?

No idea. My copy doesn't show that.

Did you do the various tests I suggested in my previous post?

If there was something wrong with LR then switching to a different user wont fix it as it is the same installation.

I would suggest that you try the following...
3. Uninstall and reinstall LR.

You should note that Lightroom doesn't actually copy the files during Import. It just asks the OS to do it, so the problem may be corrupted OS files, which would require a reinstall/refresh. Or it might just be that your computer doesn't/barely meets the minimum specs for Lightroom.

I am not sure if I can do this? as my edition was a free sale version through an internet freeware site that gives you offer's to download slightly older versions of different applications, they also gave me the key for LR4 that was emailed to me, if I uninstall and re install I might not be able to get the key to function again, if it was a one-off.
What has happened though all the LR set up profiles have disappeared from my programs, even the install settings that were first there in my downloads have gone.

Not sure what to do now?:-(

So I have sorted out my problem - I just cant use the camera profile adjustments section:-( as long as my camera profile is recognised strait off from my exif and me setting the import settings to camera in the filters, then I hope all will be ok.
