Hey guys - Looking for feedback on the below sunset. I've read through a few threads here and hit the field this afternoon to apply what I've learned. Feedback is appreciated.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the feedback. Truth be told, I agree with you. I didn't spend time attempting creative shots because I wanted to understand how the sunset was affecting the exposure.

Nov 09, 2015 23:19 | #6 #1 is a little bright for my sunset style shooting. I like to make the upper part of the image a bit darker to see the details in the sky. Yes even a blank cloudless sky like yours..... For my style it brings the colors out a bit more. I do like the shot though. My only real "complaint" is that the grass is backlit by the sun so much that it looks like an HDR botch job image. As suggested by DThriller if you got down lower and shoot some of the grass itself as the subject, then the backlighting would work. 5D4 | 8-15L | 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS | 24L II | 40mm pancake | 100L IS | 70-200mm f/2.8L IS mk2 | 400mm f/4 DO IS

Getting at eye level with the grass or finding a composition that helps separate the grass and make it stand out. - Katherine
