Hi guys,

I have been searching a better method to transfer my dlsr file to a external hdd with the easiest way.
I found that WD MyPasspord HDD is nice, BUT it cannot read CF card.. (I do raw video with 5d2 and ML)

what i need is:
-self power HDD (include power bank to charge phone)
-has SD CF card reader
-less cable please @@ (I dont want to use 1 OTG hub cable to connect a usb card reader, and a Ycable to power up the HDD)
-wireless function (so i can view the files make sure they are fine before I clear up my cards after transfered, without using cable)

alternatively I found ADATA Hasddrive AE800 with 500GB built-in HDD self powered + powerbank
BUT the down side is it has no reader....... (damn!)

why its so hard to find a better all in one HDD these day? :(

If you want a HDD with readers, probably your best bet is the Sanho HyperDrive Colorspace 3 (external link), available for your own HDD or with a pre-installed HDD. You may be able to find some Colorspace 2s around as well, for less.

That Hyperdrive look promising, but its hard to find it here.......

wonder if you can plug a CF card reader to the WD Mypasspord HDD or the ADATA Dashdrive?

I like the Sanho Hyperdrives, guess I have to buy from amazon :(

As for these drive they all specify the download format on they website, like supported format: CR2 NEF etc....
did they even can copy any file from the card? or its just locked to the file type... (if so its just so useless @@)

The "supported formats" are those they can show the images from. You can copy any file type you wish onto a Hyperdrive.

My bad, your Time zone setting is shown as "America/Chicago" which I inferred to also be your physical location.

If someone doesn't choose a time zone, it defaults to Central (US) Standard time.
