I set up an old camera on a cheap tripod, added some treats nearby, and waited! Didn't take long either!

And heres one of my rescued Pigeon.

And a flock of Canada Geese headed north! I'm sure they will discover their mistake soon enough!

Good ones, Sandy; I especially like the first. I've had chickadees land inside my lens hood while I was trying to photograph them.

Thanks Ishrani! She was roosting in a dark cubby which made an interesting photo. Heres more shots from the same day...

Thanks Rog! I've been known to do the "Happy Dance" but haven't done the hokey-pokey for years!

Thanks Ishrani. She seems to be content. She was a racing or homing pigeon that lost her way and ended up in another country. The original breeder of the bird asked a local rescue to find her a new home...which is how I got her.

Great idea--the first one is super classy!

I would change the location of the watermark though...

Thank you! I don't usually put watermarks in such obvious places, but I don't often take photos worth stealing! (Which is why I didn't share the one where the Chickadee is perfectly positioned with his claws on the viewfinder, and facing the lens!)

Nicely done Sandy! The Chickadee shot is wonderful. I really like the detail on the Pigeon shots. Well done!

Thanks Craig! Chickadees sure do make staged shots easy! The Pigeon is easier to photograph than I thought she would be. Now if only I could think of a name for her/him!

Thanks Terry! I was a little concerned that the Bluejays were going to land on the camera and tip it over! I used the light weight tripod because it was so easy to grab, and set up. Next time I may use a heavier set-up!
