1) Tail-end of a hawkmoth caterpillar (Sphingidae):

3) Crab orbweaver (Gasteracantha cf. versicolor):
cf. in open nomenclature refers to "confer with". It is a starting point for further enquiry, which is to say that the current species bears a resemblance (with respect to genetic/or morphologically distinct traits) to a known species, and may represent either a new species within the genus, or else a distinct morphological type within a polymorphic species .
