Photographing Wildlife: Kingston/Belleville, Ontario, Canada - Suggestions?

I will be visiting a friend in Canada this weekend in the Kingston/Belleville area. For anyone that knows the area, I will actually be staying in Flinton, ON (the middle of freakin no where) about 1 hour from Belleville.

I'd like to find a good spot to go for a day hike and view/photograph some wildlife. If anyone knows of any good spots within 1-2 hours of Kingston/Belleville or Flinton, ON, I'd love to hear your suggestions.
