Birding/Wildlife Spots - Everglades National Park

Planing to stay in Florida City and use the main entrance to the park (Ernest Coe Visitor Center)

Any recommendations from this area as far as trails, etc.?

When will u be there

The Anhinga Trail is amazing. Careful, the vultures in the parking lot can damage your car.

If you have the time, continue to Flamingo, stopping at the different spots along the way. Check out the Flamingo marina area - you can almost always see American Crocodiles there. Also look at Eco Pond there.

Your entrance fee will also be good for Shark Valley, quite a drive away but excellent.
