Juvenile Gannets showing a ‘wtf’ expression after just being pounced on by a Great Skua. He didn’t know that he was supposed to go down to the sea and regurgitate up his last meal for the Pirate of the Seas to enjoy on the cheap

Newborn seal pup at Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast. Looks very happy and content to me

This was all the way across the lake so by the time I recovered the detail they look more like paintings. But I couldn't resist the show of affection and had to keep them.

So true. By the end of the winter, a few of the younger deer look like they have been in knife fights.
