I am planning a trip to Asia from January to May and, call me old-fashioned, but i would love to have a map where i can mark the places i want to visit and then mark our "route".
The thing is, i don't want to do it in 4 or 5 different maps (one for each country), i would like to find a map with all the countries we will visit, which are Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal and India.

So, my question is, does someone know how i can find a map containing these countries (but not like the whole world or something)?
I imagine there are some websites where you can enter the countries / places you want and it will give you a list of all the maps available for that region. But i can't seem to find something like that.

Maybe someone here knows how to find the right map!
That would be great!

Thanks
=)

You'll probably want a separate map for India, just due to scale, but you can cover the other countries if you look for a map of "Southeast Asia".

Nepal would likely be on an India map, wouldn't it? The National Geographic India map includes Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. And their Southeast Asia one includes Myanmar.

Yes you are right, most india maps also have Nepal. Thanks! :)
I am just having trouble finding a map with Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

I don't mean like wall maps, i mean those maps you can take with you on a trip...
;)

I wouldn't call it a substitute for a paper map (mainly because a paper maps needs no batteries) but something with OpenStreetmap support would be very handy - if you get lost, you can figure out where you are in seconds/minutes.
On BlackBerry (Android app) I tend to like Osmand for that.

Yes, we are also using an App called HERE (on android), and it works great.
But we would like to take maps and use our smartphones as little as possible... ;)
