FS: 50mm 2.0 PANCAKE lens - Canon EF - $65 shipped today.

One of the lenses I get ask for the most the 50mm 2.0 pancake, made by ricoh for sears. I did a full Canon EF conversion and it's ready to go.

This is a tiny compact lens with excellent optics, it covers full frame!

The performance is better than my old EF 1.8 and 1.4 versions.

To give you a clue on how small it is here I am comparing it to the EOS M Mirrorless pancake lens.

The lens works on any Canon EOS DSLR, full frame and crop.

comes with brand new front and brand new EF rear lens cap.

The lense was clearance and modified for Canon mount(there's some milling marks left)

only con is the front cover has a scratch, but is not noticeable in regular light. Only harsh slight. And the base has small ding, but since adding the Canon EF flange this is hidden. I knocked off $25 from the price for this.


optics are mint, no fungus or haze. Aperture is mint, no oil! works from 2.0 down to f16. Lens is compatible with aperture priority,manual, program and full auto mode.

These pancakes take me 6-10 months just to find a clean copy that was cared for. So don't sleep on this one.
This is the same optically as the regular 50mm 2.0 I sell, just the rarer pancake version that is half the size.



samples below are both wide open at F2 on full frame, honestly the lens is killer sharp at 2.8-4 but i love the wide open bokeh so it mostly stays at F2 for me.
