All my photos look really good on two of my computers....the other one, which is uncalibrated.....looks crap

Make sure all your images are converted to or output in sRgb.

Show us - link to a download of the picture, ideally not hosted on an image sharing service because they mess with images. PM me if you want to email it to me.

Apparently, according to this website, the browser may be at fault http://cameratico.com …er-color-management-test/ (external link)

we can speculate all day.

well, other's might, i won't.

I have a client that spends tons of time and money color correcting images and then exports them to the web without profiles, there are a number of things that can go wrong in a workflow, but again without samples it's all speculation.

so far the most telling thing you have said is "This seems to be only occurring on facebook...and my photos only" … to get a good answer you should probably link to the FB photo and post one of the originals here.

Well yeah, I get your point there about "my photos only", maybe its also the OS (Windows sh*te [10]) being the operative word, as in, most of the edits I've done recently, have been done on the laptop where it has been undesirably sh*te, your guess is as good as my knowledge as to what OS I am using on the laptop

Post your photos. Discussion is pointless until we see them. Most of the time people are doing things wrong with color profiles.

I think it's because I have two computer that are slightly off with each other

Getting the right lighting condition for both is hard, also, my third computer is showing photos way too bright because that one is not really intended for photo editing (essentially browsing and other projects), hence it may look weird in my perspective

It sounds like you have the brightness and contrast turned way up on computer #3? The web will look great but your photos won't be accurately represented - it sounds like you realize this though.

This is a pretty common issue. My images look great on my screen but often when I send them to family or friends and I happen get a look at the photos on their screens it usually makes me cringe. Uploading pictures to social media sites is often worse because all kinds of manipulations happen in the process. My advice would be to process your images so they look good for you on your calibrated device and forget about it. You can't really control what happens beyond that but you could surely drive yourself crazy trying.

Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb
