I've just PM'd Jeff to remind him he should set a new challenge ASAP.

No response from Jeff, so I'm suggesting to Scatterbrained that he pick a #2 winner and ask him/her to set the next challenge so that we can keep these going.

Did you PM him and did he accept? I would hate to see these challenges die down again just after we were starting to get more entries.

Nice shot, djr01974, but we really don't need more entries in this challenge that closed long ago.

What is needed is someone (you have been nominated by Scatterbrained as the runner-up since since the winner Jeff is non-responsive) to set a NEW challenge ASAP!

Unfortunately Scatterbrained left the following standard line out of his post that set the "In Motion" challenge, so we can't really blame Jeff for not understanding, when he entered, that the winner sets the next challenge:

* New Topic - After winner is declared. * Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced. * Posting Ends - (time and date set by host) * Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

New thread. You can copy an older one and change whatever will be different this time.

It looks like you made the new challenge the same topic is this one - In Motion. Typically each challenge is a new topic. I'm not sure about the rules about the topic creator posting an image.

Looks like it's still about motion. If you look at the topics for the other Digital Camera Speed Challenges, they vary:
Darkness
Toys
Still Life
On The Job
Decay

With winter right around the corner in the northern hemisphere, one idea would be "Cold" or "Chilly"
