Sigma 150-600 C + Sigma Dock for Canon $850

I was going to give it a 9/10, but did find a couple of small marks about the size of the minor dust you can see in one of the photos near the edge of the front element while cleaning and looking really closely. Honestly the font element is so large keeping it 100% dust free is impossible and I never noticed before that it did in fact have a couple of marks on it. Lens has some minor dust in it which I suspect is usual. It has not gotten worse while using it. Not my dustiest lens by far, but neither is it 100% dust free - there is a lot of glass in there.

There is no way I could take a photo of any of the blemishes, they are way too minor and small.

Rear element is 100%.

Feedback: Bought several items, only sold my 17-40. Been around for a while, lots of posts.
Reason for selling: Bought 400 DO II. Although this is a good lens and I thought of keeping it, I decided I wasn't going to use it since the DO is only slightly heavier and about the same size. Going to upgrade my TC's instead.

General Comments: From all I have read I can't imagine a better copy. at 400mm f8 it is as sharp as my DO II at f4. At 600mm f8 is is comparable to, but not quite as sharp as the DO + 1.4TC @ f5.6. As with reviews I have seen it is much sharper at f8 than f6.3 @ 600mm, but very good at 400mm.

AF works well. I have done BIF although as you might expect it's not as consistently accurate as lenses like the 400 DO, 70-200 mkII etc.. canon lenses. Again, as at least as good as I expected from reviews and user comments. I've used it on my 7D, 7DII and 5DIII all with no MFA at either end. It does help to have the dock to set the AF to responsive for BIF.
