I personally like the color, crop and the flare. The only thing I would do is adjustment brush the couple with about +1.00 exposure to brighten them up.

You can futz around with the color, maybe more orange tone, but no big deal. I wouldn't brighten them up, I don't think the lighting would look right for the mood. JMHO. Would you like to buy a vowel?

The quickest and easiest fix to both of those issues would be to make a B&W edit.
