How would people rate these 2 cameras against eack other. Other than pixel count and fps rate, both are outstanding cameras. I like both of mine, but just curious as to how you guys and gals compare the two.

What do you use each of yours for? I'm assuming you prefer each for different uses.

The 6D I use mostly for portraits, landscape, and macro. I use the 1DM3 for sports, although I find the 6D is no slouch in that area, either, regardless of what some people have stated eventhough they have never owned one.

I use my 6D for sports sometimes and it copes pretty well...a few more focus points would be nice but all in all it doesn't do a bad job...

I'm a recent 6D recipient and my initial impressions are the file size is HUGE, my computer needs upgrading and I don't like how the new files look. My 8 year old, 300kclick 1D mk3 needed replacing and I eventually settled on the 6D. I'm now shooting small RAW to stop my pooter crashing/not take 4 times as long to output files. The files look oversaturated for the same settings in DPP and wont take any noise reduction without making them look plastic. However, the ability to shoot at ridiculously high ISOs is fantastic. I don't even find 5fps as limiting as I thought I would. As a field sports shooter I now pack a different body depending on light levels, but I may have to bite the bullet and go 1Dx when the mk3 does eventually die

You think the 6D files are huge, you should try the 5DSR files! They are simple insane, size wise. They would make you pooter beg for mercy.

I think what I really needed was a mk4 or new shutter and a service for my three. GAS kicked in and told myself I needed a new full frame body. Tbh I prolly could have gotten away with a 70D ߘ
