what do you guys think? do i need strobe or continuous?

You can connect cords to each if you really want to, but i've never tried that. B&H generally don't sell crap, but they're not very powerful - they're 100W/S, whereas my AB800 lights (good reliable brand, medium power) are 320W/S.
