Great image quality in both. You certainly have a large difference in composition -from very busy to very simplistic. I'm guessing (emphasis on guessing) that the 2nd shot would receive better reviews from critics. You certainly have the eye going to the heron there.
Guess I would like the first better w/o the sawed log, evidence of man, but the large rock face tends to over- power.
My 2 cents worth.
And actually, I wish I could visualize shots like these better when I'm out. Please post more.
