I set these up a few days ago. I would appreciate any constructive criticism!

I like the setup you had goin

The 2nd one needs a crop. The composition is off. I think your light may have been too high bc most of the lower half of the baby's face is in slight shadow.

I dont want to be too negative bc I know babies are really hard to pose and engage. I do like them and I bet the client liked them aswell

Side point: Im not really getting the numbered stockings prop... I get that there are 25 and xmas is the 25th. Is counting days with numbered stockings a xmas tradition I am unaware of?

The 25 stockings are a version of the advent calendar. (you may have seen the kids calendars where you open a door each day for a chocolate?)

Ya, totally right about the lighting. How would you have cropped it?

Here's my adjustments: (recovered some shadows in the face as well as a tighter crop)

I like the new crop better. The skin looks a little hot to me. Maybe pull back the highlights, especially on the forehead and cheeks.
