Why was your original comment even needed, and more to the point why direct it solely at me. I wasn't the one who made it personal.

Seriously, okay? My comment wasn't needed, but then, most comments aren't needed. I made it because you responded to another person's behavior that you didn't like by producing the same kind of behavior yourself. I tend to notice that sort of thing. In fact, it jumps out at me. It's often a step in getting a vicious circle going, where constructive dialogue might occur instead.

It's true that you don't have sole responsibility for the series of posts with stings in their tails, but you did begin a reply (to a post now deleted) with "Lol it's funny how sensitive people are on this topic"--rather a pointed response--and followed up with sarcasm. Sarcasm is fun to do, sometimes with unfortunate results in the social world. And you did initiate "making it personal" toward me with that SF reference.

Have to love the bully culture of an Internet forum.

I guess the best thing to say at this point is "No comment."

I was actually being serious about SF-it's a lovely place.

As for my post being deleted-I'd be interested to know why, judging by the nature of many of the posts in this thread I believe I was spot on with it being a sensitive topic.

Also you will notice there are many other 'pointed' posts in this thread but I get singled out because I am a low count poster with a contrarian view.

Ah well I'll leave it at that, don't want to upset anyone.

Oh. I read your "SF" post as substituting SF for LA in this line: "I guess I would hate my life if I lived in LA also."

No, no, the other person's post was deleted!
