I had posted these separate but had no response. I guess they belong in this thread. I was in Kokhanok, Alaska this past weekend for work and was able to take these pictures of their Russian Orthodox Church. Russian Orthodoxy is found throughout the villages in much of Southwest Alaska. It is a holdover from when the Russians used to own Alaska. These pictures were taking in the early morning.

I have dozens of shots of churches in California's western Sierra Nevada ghost towns. This is the abandoned Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Chinese Camp:
