The clock on the outside wall of St John's Co Cathedral

It doesn’t look too unassuming to me, John. I do not seem to remember seeing this church, though.
Perhaps the clocks could do with a little lick of paint or a touch of gold leaf to brighten them up a bit.

Can you interpret please John
It's about 25 past 11, but the rest? 6th day of month.
Is it Sunday? Sabbath?

There we are then. Clock doing its job - confusing the Devil!

I thought that all of the churches there were unassuming Ray with hardly any decoration in them :rolleyes:

One of the days we went from St John's Co Cathedral to St Paul's Pro Cathedral in Valetta on one visit and the difference was astounding

I know what you mean, John, but they all seem to have their own character.
That last shot is a good one, nice soft colours, etc; and lots of little cherubs flying on the ceiling. :-)

While the ornate frescos are certainly a wonderous thing to behold, the simple elegance of your first church in the post is my favorite.

Two very well executed shots.
