not sure if this is the right place to post this. if not truly sorry
i shoot low light amateur kickboxing events and video rarely but, want to do it more. instead of keep swapping lenses was looking to buy a handycam. came across this and seems to be able to handle low light. could i have peoples opinions on this please. SONY HANDYCAM HDR-XR200VE CAMCORDER 120GB HDD HIGH DEFINITION DIGITAL HD. many thanks

I've never used or looked at that but I can tell you the quality will be different. Handycams have a different look and feel to them. But generally they are easier to use.

ive been using my 70d and quality is brill but, just sick of changing lenses but, didnt want to go the 2nd camera route as it would be for my wife to use aswell

Depends on your budget I suppose.

Look into:

Panasonic HC-V770 HD ($500).

Or more budget friendly, Canon HF R600 ($200).
