"Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the daaaaayyyys!!"
Endline lyric of a US TV seires (external link) theme song from the 1970s, for those not in the know.

Despite my dislike of the show from kid to older adult, I love your series here, airfrogusmc.
These long-forgotten or simply overlooked marques held their own place in history.

The GTHO is interesting.
Is it slang for Get The Hell Off my tail? :p

HO = Handling Option.

Forever after referred to as the Hoey.

Great stuff airfrog! My dad had a 1957 Pontiac station waggon. No, it wasn't fuel injected. You really do wonderful car photos.

A rare car.

Agree. You bring us some unique and beautiful automobiles.

They certainly put a lot of interesting and small detail into those cars that you bring out very nicely.

I was taken by the back slanting "fuel injection". My thoughts were it was symbolic of being ahead of their times

Thanks for sharing

I saw this car in the Louwman museum in Wassenaar. First thought was it can sail in the water like the car James Bond used in his film. But it is not seaworthly. However a special car.

Jos

So it's not like an Amphicar... I see those once in a great while....I remember when they were for sale!!!
