But like everything some models are much rarer than others and this model is extremely rare. 5 made only 3 still exists. I'd say rare. I wasn't talking about all Pierce only this rare model that he owns. This same client has 4 other Pierce models from different years but none are rare like this one that I mentioned.

Of course you're correct about the Silver Arrow, and I did cede to that in my last comment.
I likely misinterpreted at first by thinking you were referring to total output of Pierce-Arrow.

I might not have been clear with my original words. It's all good.

My olive branch extended also.
I think I or we crossed interpretational understandings somewhere along the way.
No hard feelings on my behalf, to be sure, and many thanks for keeping me on my toes
about a marque I knew little about.

Your series of the Sliver Arrow is fantastic, and I'd love to see more of it.

I'm also very curious about the unnamed collector.
Are there any details you are able to provide?
They appear to have an historically-important and significant collection
which may be diminished if their heirs do not continue the legacy.
The examples you've shown appear to be in better-than-new condition,
and purposefully so.

1927 Pierce Arrow Runabout

That really is a beautiful series very nicely presented.
The attention to detail in that marque is exquisite.
Like a piece of well crafted jewellery
Lovely to see

Lotus Elise S1 (?)
is it a classic yet?
I read this is one of the greatest Lotus of all times. Not sure if that's true, but I was quite taken with it except for the size inside the cabin!
Not a car we see much of here

From your comments Lotus hasn't changed much over the years!! In the early 70's when I was in high school and then college I always loved the Europa, what a beautiful design. Then a high school classmate got one. I couldn't fit inside it! I couldn't work the gas/clutch/brake pedals, they were too small and too close together. I am not that big a guy- maybe 5"11" and at the time about 160 pounds. It was too small and claustrophobic for me!!! On to the next car fantasy......sigh....I did get a TR7 convertible a few years later and that was a dream car for me.....

I fit in Europas, but mine was breathtakingly fragile.

Nice car, but I'm not fond of the vomit yellow paint.

one of my favourite cars is a 1970's Alfa Veloce 1750 in that calf-poo yellow :-P
I do think the Alfa looks better in that colour than the Lotus

^^^^Seeing those images reminds me of what we used to accept as far as body panel fit was concerned, back in the dayߑ Here's a pct of a 1976 Trans Am I once owned.

Grand Dad great series. Bricklins were a common sight around my area way back after they shut down production. I eventually became friends with someone who bought several when the assets were being sold off & I think we had another car dealer or 2 who also bought multiple lots of cars to sell on their car lots. I'm sure a few are still here locally but we rarely see them on the road.

A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.

Ah, memories.
There was a white example sitting behind a shed, apparently incomplete and being overgrown with weeds,
for many years near the family's vacation property in northern Michigan when I was very young. The neighbor kids and I
regularly stomped to and fro past it during our young innocent-hooligan excursions.

I specifically remember it being a Bricklin due to the marque badge still being intact upon my inspection.
As best I can recall, the wing doors and hood were removed, as well as the motor, with the wheels
still in place. No idea what became of it, but with the small-town economy of the greater area it was
located in during the time, I suspect it was eventually scrapped as vacationers and investors snapped up
the properties as the local ski/golf resorts and nearby lakefront areas began to be acquired by the likes of
Madonna, Kid Rock, Big Investment, Eminem, pro Detroit sports team members, and the like.

1969 Shelby GT50 Convertible. The original MSRP on this car was $5,027. It sold at auction at the Mecum Summer Special in Orlando for a cool $160,000:
